The consultation consists of a discussion around your questionnaire, an explanation of any key imbalances I have identified and a collaboratively-decided programme for you to implement.  Testing and supplements may be suggested if necessary.  All consultations are conducted via Zoom.

In advance of the initial consultation, you will be sent a questionnaire.  This questionnaire asks questions around  your goal, current presenting symptoms,  family history,  food preferences etc.  

This allows me to conduct research in advance of our consultation.

how do you ensure nutrition support is personalised?

In advance of the initial session, you will be sent a thorough client questionnaire to complete.  In the initial session, we will discuss the questionnaire and current symptomology.  Testing may also be suggested to further understand any imbalances that may be occuring.

General nutrition advice is given in workplace sessions

WHY CAN'T I BOOK JUST ONE CONSULTATION?

From 4 years of study, I promise that as much as  one session is eye opening and energising, at least one follow up is always necessary to make adjustments to the programme, go over any test results and rejig any supplements. 

My approach takes a holistic - all systems involved - approach. The human body is vast. One session is not sufficient.

In fact, it is likely that in the future I will operate within 6 week programmes as a minimum.

I feel embarrassed to talk about my current diet...

There's no denying that food is an emotive and complex topic.  My job is to support you wholly.  A therapeutic relationship is a judgement-free zone.

My sole purpose in Nutritional Therapy Consultations is to support you to improve your health. We can make changes as slowly as you like.   It is a collaborative process aimed at bringing about sustainable change.


I DON'T HAVE ANY THING 'WRONG' WITH ME, BUT I'D LIKE TO IMPROVE MY OVERALL HEALTH. CAN YOU DO THAT?

Absolutely.  Prevention over cure is the best method.

However, in our initial consultation, we would determine a goal to work towards.  That could be 'increased energy' or  'better understanding of how to optimise my meals'.   Having a goal in place helps to structure the consultations and helps us measure success.
