The 3 Month Comprehensive

I work with clients on a 12 week programme combining evidence-based techniques, health coaching, support and accountability.

Weekly check-ins and bi-weekly consultations encourage adherence to the plan.

We focus on enriching the diet with nutritious, varied and delicious food.  No hunger, no misery!   A sustainable way of eating that  feels good.

Since you are a unique individual, any nutrition plan must be unique and tailored.

Depending on your health goal, we can look into elements like portion control, mindful eating, nutritional deficiencies, hormones, inflammation, gut health, detoxification and so much more.

Any adjustments to your current diet will be made at a pace that suits you.

Through your completed health questionnaire , food diary and conversations in the consultations, we will identify key areas for improvement.

We will address any nutritional deficiencies through food and/or supplements and build a health plan that you can follow.

Pillar 1

One of the main challenges in any health journey is accountability.

Without an accountability partner, it is easy to let a couple of off-plan days turn into a couple of off-plan weeks!

Weekly check-ins provide a supportive structure which increases dietary adherence and support on your journey.

Accountability

Pillar 2

As everything is very tailored, some things we may work on in the 12 weeks include the following:
- Gut health
- Inflammation
- Hormones
- Thyroid health

Testing can be very useful to identify underlying factors preventing you from reaching your goal.  Often there is a lot we can do in this area without testing.

Addressing of underlying factors impacting your health goal

Pillar 3

We cannot focus on nutrition alone to get you to your health goal.  In the sessions you will receive health coaching  on:
-  Sleep
-  Stress management
- Movement (general advice)
-  Joy
- Organisation

Lifestyle management

Pillar 4

The consultation consists of a discussion around your questionnaire, an explanation of any key imbalances I have identified and a collaboratively-decided programme for you to implement.  Testing and supplements may be suggested if necessary.  All consultations are conducted via Zoom.

Consultation

03.

In advance of the initial consultation, you will be sent a questionnaire.  This questionnaire asks questions around  your goal, current presenting symptoms,  family history,  food preferences etc.

This allows me to conduct research in advance of our consultation.

"Sophie is very knowledgeable and always up to date with the latest in nutrition and health. She is a great facilitator who manages to translate complex matters into easily digestible information and practical advice - and our employees love her workshops!"

Siri Slengerik - Partner, People Experience, Improbable

"It’s been great working with you. You’ve made the whole process extremely easy for me to manage, from the bookings to the delivery of the workshops.

Your workshops are delivered seamlessly with the technology (which is something not everyone has quite mastered), and your knowledge is extensive but accessible."

Oliver Bell, Health and Wellbeing Lead, Newcastle University

Sophie delivered an Eating for Focus session for us recently and it was packed full of great information delivered in a very digestible (no pun intended!) way. More importantly, Sophie was able to provide loads of practical ways to introduce better eating habits into our lives.

I have had a wealth of feedback from those who attended about how engaging Sophie was as a speaker, and how useful they found the session, and we can’t wait to invite her back again"

GOT QUESTIONS?

how do you ensure nutrition support is personalised?

In advance of the initial session, you will be sent a thorough client questionnaire to complete.  In the initial session, we will discuss the questionnaire and current symptomology.  Testing may also be suggested to further understand any imbalances that may be occuring.

General nutrition advice is given in workplace sessions

i'm vegan/ veggie/ gluten free - can you support me?

Great question! I absolutely can support you.  I have experience helping people who adhere to a wide range of diets.

I am able to tweak each suggestion to the relevant diet.

I feel embarrassed to talk about my current diet...

There's no denying that food is an emotive and complex topic.  My job is to support you wholly.  This therapeutic relationship is a judgement-free zone.

Whether you currently drink wine every night, eat chocolate for breakfast, have a takeaway every night - nothing shocks me in the slightest.  I see clients every day and remember, I've been on my own journey too!

My sole purpose in Nutritional Therapy Consultations is to support you to improve your health.

AM I GOING TO HAVE TO EAT MISERABLY?!

Absolutely not! I like to focus on what we can add into the diet rather than exclude.

Most of the time, you can still include your favourite foods in your diet.  We may just adjust the frequency and portion size.

I take a joyful approach to nutrition and lifestyle medicine.  In this programme, we  work on  weight loss and a sustainable way of managing weight going forwards.
